How AI Video Upscaling Works
Our AI video upscaler uses a super-resolution neural network powered by WebGPU — a modern browser API that lets your device's GPU run AI models directly in the browser. No server, no upload, no cost.
The upscaling pipeline works by extracting each video frame, running it through the AI model (based on Anime4K CNN), and re-encoding the enhanced frames back into a video file — all inside your browser tab.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the tool in Chrome or Edge on a desktop computer
- Upload your video file (MP4, WebM, MOV supported)
- Select your upscale model (Anime/Animation or Real-Life)
- Click "Upscale Video" and wait for processing to complete
- Download your enhanced video
Why Browser-Based AI?
Traditional video upscalers require expensive server infrastructure. By running the AI model on your device's GPU via WebGPU, we can offer this tool completely free with zero server costs — and your video data stays 100% private.
